Clear rules for everyone

Read this page before creating your chat or subscribing to a plan.

Subscription policy

Every plan has published limits: rooms, simultaneous online members, registered members, upload size, uploaded smileys, and how long chat, private messages and notifications are kept.
Plan limits apply to your chat for its whole life, and any change the administration makes to a plan applies to every chat on that plan.
If a plan limit drops below what you use, existing rooms and members are not deleted, but adding new ones is blocked until you are under the limit again.

You choose the plan when you create the chat.
You cannot move from one plan to another. To change, delete the chat and create it again on the plan you want; its data is lost when it is deleted.

The free plan needs no payment.
Paid plans and online payment will be available later, and we will announce them here.

If a paid subscription is not paid or expires without renewal, the chat is treated as idle and suspended temporarily.
Chat data is kept while it is suspended, and it works again after payment and reactivation by the administration.

Public messages, private messages and notifications older than the retention period of your plan are deleted automatically and cannot be recovered. "Forever" means they are never deleted.

You create your chat from your dashboard after signing up, with your own name and link.
Every account gets one free chat. Additional chats will be on paid plans when they are available.
The chat link is 3 to 40 lowercase English letters, digits and dashes, and starts with a letter. Some links are reserved for the platform.
The link goes to whoever asks for it first, and it is not guaranteed to stay yours if the chat is deleted.

You own your chat and control its rooms, members, ranks and permissions.
You are responsible for what your members post, and you should appoint moderators to follow violations.

A chat with no activity during the period set in its plan is suspended automatically and its visitors see a rest page.
The administration may offer a suspended chat for sale at a price it sets, and its owner can ask to reactivate it before it is sold.
When a chat is reactivated the idle period starts again.

The administration may suspend any chat that breaks the usage rules.
By creating your chat you agree to these terms.
You can delete your chat at any time. Deletion is final and covers messages, members, files and subscriptions; none of it can be recovered.

Pornographic content of any kind is forbidden. Creating, promoting or linking to pornographic chats or sites is forbidden. A violating chat is suspended immediately without prior warning and may be deleted without recovery.
Posting illegal content, or content that incites violence or hatred or exploits minors, is forbidden.
Harassment, defamation, impersonation and fraud are forbidden.
Posting malware, phishing links or spam is forbidden.
Using the platform to disrupt the service, attempt to break into it, or get around plan limits by tricks is forbidden.
Uploading files that violate the rights of others is forbidden.

The platform keeps your account data (name and email) only to run the service, and never shows it to the public.
Private chat monitoring is never available on any plan, free or paid. Chat owners and moderators are not provided with access to private conversations between members; these conversations are for their participants only.
Passwords are protected with one-way encryption and are never shown to anyone.

A violating chat may be warned, suspended temporarily, or deleted without recovery in serious cases.
You can contact the administration to object to any suspension.
